Morebodi Modise is a MSc by Coursework and dissertation student in Computer Science at the University of Cape Town. His research is situated within the Centre for ICT for Development (ICT4D) and the Digital Libraries Laboratory. He completed his undergraduate degree at Botswana Accountancy College and honors at University of Sunderland (UK). His current research project focuses at adapting textual and voice Information Retrieval systems search interfaces to the novice and low literate isiXhosa speakers. Before joining UCT as a Masters student, he worked as an Oracle Developer for 2 years, specializing in Oracle Application Frameworks (OAF, ADF, MAF, PL/SQL). He is a certified Oracle PL/SQL Developer. As an Oracle developer, he consulted in 4 different projects ranging from education, mining, housing, and life insurance.
